I started writing this song while walking back to my boyfriend's place while he was away for several weeks and I missed him.

Verse 1
The sun is getting lower in the sky.
Makes me think I've found the right guy.
I know where I want to go.
I wanna take this taxi home.
But you're not here with me.
I fear I'm all alone.
The darkness seems to rob me of a life and home.
I feel such insecurities.
Can't get help from any deity.
Again I'm on my own.
Baby, when are you coming home?
Verse 2
When you brought me here you had no bed.
You feared I'd run away from what you said.
But I stuck around anyway.
And we seemed to get better day by day.
Repeat Chorus
Verse 3
There is the element of surprise.
When will I finally look in your eyes?
I could not possibly know.
But that is my ultimate goal.
Repeat Chorus
